AAMA Driver Education

Driver Education Course for Parents of Teenagers

One of the most important responsibilities we as parents have to our teenagers is giving them the
very best start when the time comes for them to start learning how to drive.

Finding a good Driving Instructor and getting value for money driving lessons can be difficult – but it
doesn’t have to be! If you are planning on teaching your teenager how to drive, we can help!

How can All-Active Martial Arts help with Driving instruction? Well, read on!

For the past 15 years, All-Active Martial Arts’ owner and director Marc Toussaint has combined
his martial arts teaching skills with his driver instruction industry qualifications and experience, to
help teenagers become the safe and responsible drivers they need to be - and earn their P's!

As a government accredited driving instructor for cars and heavy vehicles, (manual and automatic),
Marc has worked for several Registered Training Organisations and until recently was a Licence
Testing Officer for VicRoads. Drawing on his industry knowledge and teaching experience, Marc is
focused on helping parents deliver the best possible driving education to their children.

Now with the use of a fully fitted out driver education vehicle (auto), Marc and All-Active Martial
Arts have developed a Driver Education Course for parents of teenagers with a focus on preparing
them for teaching their children how to drive. The driver education course would also be suited to
any licensed drivers who wish to improve their own driving or those who may have considered a
future role in driver instruction!

In addition to the Parent Driver Education course, our Driver Education Vehicle will also be delivering
Defensive Driver Education. The Defensive Driving Course is designed to teach licenced drivers good
driving behaviour and concepts such as vehicle control and hazard perception to help them be safer
on the roads.

Marc’s qualifications for the Driver Education industry include:
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
• Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics Road Transport (Car Driving Instruction)
• Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport - Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction)

Marc is currently working as a Car & Heavy Vehicle Instructor, teaching and assessing new car and
heavy vehicle trainers. Marc’s current work includes providing training for the MFB (now called Fire
Rescue Victoria), the CFA and Victoria Police.

The Parent Driver Education Course will assist licensed drivers to draw on their existing knowledge
and skill to help them teach their child safe and responsible driving. By using a progressive approach,
the course covers driver education for your teenager from their very first lesson, right through to
their getting their licence. Parents may find this may reduce the need for many hours of lessons with
a private driving school or instructor to prepare for licence testing.
