Women's Self-Defence Course Starts 29 Feb 2020

Our first Women's Self-Defence Course for 2020 at All-Active Martial Arts Epping is set to begin on Saturday 29th February 2020! Registrations are now open and bookings are essential to confirm your place! 

The Women's Krav Maga Self-Defence course will consist of 5 x 1 hour sessions delivered at our Epping training centre, on Saturday mornings from 11am - 12pm. 

Week 1: Saturday 29 February, 11am-12pm

Week 2: Saturday 7 March, 11am-12pm

Week 3: Saturday 14 March, 11am-12pm

Week 4: Saturday 21 March, 11am-12pm

Week 5: Saturday 28 March, 11am-12pm

Our Self-Defence classes are suitable for women of all ages and fitness levels (16yrs and over).  Our goal is to empower women with the skills, knowledge, awareness, strength and confidence to feel safer on the street! 

Some of the topics covered over the 5-week women' self-defence course will include blocking techniques, break falling, choke defences, strikes, punches and kicks and ground defences. You’ll learn techniques for defending against bear hugs, arm grabs and headlocks, and how to deal with an overpowering attacker. By the end of the program, you will find that all the skills and techniques will you've been learning will come together and help you to feel stronger, more aware, prepared and confident!

Location: All-Active Martial Arts - 11/26 Miller street, Epping VIC (Directly opposite YMCA Leisure City) 

Cost: Total cost of the 5 week program is $120, including a training shirt for all participants.

What to wear: Any comfortable clothing of your choice is appropriate for class, though no shoes are worn on the training mats.

Classes at AAMA will return in full swing on Tuesday 28th Jan 2025, following the Australia Day Long Weekend. AAMA's Holiday Timetable will conclude this Thursday 23rd Jan, ahead of the Australia Day Long Weekend. AAMA will be closed from Saturday 25th Jan - Monday 27th Jan, before our full timetable recommences on Tuesday 28th Jan 2025.
