VIC Championship Tournament at AAMA

A high energy weekend at AAMA for the WEKAF Australia Victorian Championship ðŸĪš

We were lucky enough to host participants from all around Victoria at AAMA for this year's WEKAF Australia Victorian State Championship over the weekend.

Over two days of competition, we saw great skill, sportsmanship, courage and determination by the competitors powering through what were some intensely challenging bouts. Events included Live Stick Sparring (Single and Double Stick), padded point, knife point and individual forms.

Live stick sparring events (single and double stick sparring) require both physical and mental preparation, fitness and stamina. Facing intense 1 minute bouts, competitors gave it their all in order to dominate the round and gain the advantage.

We had a great turnout of competitors and a lot of fun! We are hoping to see many of our competitors qualify to represent Australia at next year's WEKAF World Championships in Cebu, Philippines.

Thanks to everyone who took part!
