Zen Do Kai Black Gi Grading

Zen Do Kai Black Gi Grading at AAMA: Sat 27 March

Saturday's Black Gi Grading challenged and tested our Zen Do Kai students on a number of levels - skill, strength, stamina, mental focus and physical and emotional control. They showed resilience, confidence, respect for themselves and for one another throughout their grading, which entailed a demonstration of their skill sets, techniques, forms, fitness and sparring. Every one of our students attempting Black Gi Grading was able to demonstrate both physical and mental strength and focus, right through to the end of their 10th sparring round.

We would also like to thank each and every one of our Black Belts who came along to show their support! They all understand that earning a Black Gi does not come easy!

We couldn't be prouder of our students and are humbled by the bond they all share. We look forward to seeing our newest Black Gi Grading members wear their Black Gi with pride!
